GEAR campaign submits paper to UN
[May 2008, New York] The GEAR campaign has been actively involved in the discussions on how a new gender equality agency should function. Its submission has been compiled from the broad experiences of women across the world and identifies the gaps in the current architecture. The paper has been submitted to the Office of the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Gender Issues and Advancement of Women (OSAGI), who is leading the consultation process.
